OVER & OUT

What is Over & Out?

Over & Out is the name we give to a series of 3 events that closes the book on 13 years of schooling. These events have been running for close to a decade and are some of the best nights on the calendar year. The 3 events celebrate the following end of year milestones and most of these events include all the schools that are listed here and on our instagram.
 

What is are the Over & Out Events?

1) The Muck Up Day Party (October)
2) The VCE End of Exams Party (November)
3) The ATAR Results Party. (December)
 
All these events are 18+ and will be the the Hawthorn Hotel (THE HAWKA).
 

Can I purchase tickets online? How do I do that?

We have a registration system for tickets.

BYRON

What is Schoolies?

A week at Byron Bay with hosted events for the graduating class. Most student’s pre – book accomodation well in advance.

The Australian equivalent to Spring – Break in America.

The Byron schoolies events are run & organised by:

Are these events 18+?

Yes these events are 18+. You will need a driver’s license or passport to get into the venue.

– Valid Australian Driver’s license
– Valid VIC/NSW/Queensland learners permit
– Valid Australian or Foreign passport

*note

Other forms of ID are accepted but please bring suitable back ups.

NSW security can be very strict. It’s a good idea to have no attitude and plenty of back ups.

Is this still done over three weeks? I’m confused and I want to make sure that these events line up with the dates that I’m coming up to Byron for.

The events held in Byron are now done over 1 week.

What is the relationship between Byron Schoolies Parties & Over & Out?

In collaboration with byronschooliesparties.com.au Over & Out is an affiliate marketing arm for schoolies parties hosted in Byron Bay annually. Since 2007 we’ve worked directly with the Byron event organisers to put together the event for the graduating class.

byronschooliesparties.com.au in conjunction with Over & Out. Over & Out works alongside byronschooliesparties.com.au to assist in the planning and ticketing registration and distribution dating back to 2007. Over & Out is responsible for providing regular updates surrounding all graduating events as well as information regarding how the registration system works which was introduced in 2018 to offer even opportunity to students across the state to acquire their tickets.

I’ve heard venues can be very strict with intoxicated patrons coming into the venue, is this true?

Venues are very strict with intoxicated patrons. You simply won’t get in if they deem you in an unfit state.

What other nightlife is available in Byron that aren’t organised events?

There are some venues. The local bowls club is one of the local hangouts + a couple of other little bars / places to eat. As for ticketed, organised events there are no other events other than the ones organised by us.

Your school representative/s will assist us in connecting us with all of you. Stay up to date on your school FB messenger / group and our website / socials.

What is a school ticket rep?

A school representative is responsible for releasing the information that appears in our news section to their schools. It allows information to flow to private school groups that have the entire school groups. It also means that each school receives the information at the same time and are given fair warning to key dates including information regarding our booking system.

What’s the booking system?

Our booking system is in an online form you fill out so we can contact you before tickets go on sale to the general public.

Venues have capacity limits and we do not want you and your friends to miss out. By registering within the capacity, this means you’ll have access to purchasing tickets online on the day of release. If tickets aren’t purchased, they’ll go to people that will be sitting in a queue who register outside of the venues capacity. 

Information will be released consistently by us and delivered via school representative to ensure you don’t miss out. Please stay on top of this. In previous years these events have sold out within 5 minutes. Waiting lists were created shortly after. It’s crucial you stay up to date.
